IV Hydration Treatment

Intravenous (IV) infusion is the fastest and most effective method of vitamin and mineral delivery to the body, with 100% absorption into the bloodstream within 45-60 minutes. Following your initial health assessment & consultation, your IV is securely infused by Sylvia Eldridge, PA-C or one of our nurses. Here’s what you can expect for your IV treatment:
1. A conversation with Sylvia to determine the appropriate infusion for your IV drip
2. A thorough cleansing & disinfecting of the area around the IV site (usually inside the elbow)
3. Fitting an elastic band around your arm to contain blood flow in the proper area & help find a vein for insertion
4. A sterile needle will be inserted into the vein before the elastic band comes off, and the tube is tested for proper delivery
5. Our professional staff will secure the IV needle in place, attach the IV bag to the tube, and begin the flow of fluids.

As your treatment is happening, we will regularly check the IV line & monitor fluids You’re free to relax, nap, read, or catch up on emails in our IV suite as the ingredients work their magic. There is no downtime, so you can get back to your normal activities feeling even better than when you first came in!
